401k providers

Just a reminder (official notice sent two+ weeks ago) that the company is changing 401k financial providers from T. Rowe Price to John Hancock effective April 26, 2020. During this change, the 401k program will have a blackout period for approximately two weeks to ensure all funds are reconciled from T. Rowe to John Hancock. During the blackout period, you will not have access to your funds to take any loans, withdrawals or make any new investments.

 

Questions & Answers

  1.  What do I need to do to move my money? At the moment, you don't have to do anything. Once you are notified by HR Department, you can make changes to your investments and will need to enroll via phone or web.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

  2.  What should I do if I need to take a loan or withdrawal before April 26th? Contact hr@frankdetail.com.                       

  3. Why is the Company making a change? Now that there is more investment money, Frank's Detail needs a provider that can be more flexible and easier to work with.                                                                                        

  4. How does changing financial companies affect me? You will experience some changes due to each company has different investments, rules, and processes. The HR Department and PASI will work with you to make it a smooth transition.                                                                                                                                               

  5. Whom should I call if I have questions? If you have a question about John Hancock, the best thing to do is send an email to dwilliams@frankdetail.com. Please be sure to include your name, telephone number, and any information you can provide so we can research the answer before contacting you.  

Remember, John Hancock will not have information on your investments until approximately the second week in May. Therefore, they are not ready for your calls until you have been notified by Frank's Detail HR Department.
